Fittie Sense @ Bangsar

The quality get-together with my colleagues came back again, it's been nearly a month already. We planned this outing from the beginning of the week, but all of us were hesitating until Thursday. So we flipped a coin...and it was the front side which meant 'not going'. Lol, but then again we were like 'should we go?' and the answer to the question was 'yes, let's just do it.' Because all of us are a small bunch of inevitably lazy people who like to hibernate at home over the weekends after five long week days of working. But it's only our obligation to step out of our comfort zones and do what keeps ourselves moving.

As usual, I was the one searching for the restaurants and cafes to visit this time and ended up with this fairly a new cafe called Fittie Sense located at Telawi, Bangsar. I don't know why, but the name caught my attention. I've never really had a habit of eating healthy, because I used to think that good food can never be healthy all these while. But I realised eating healthy has been becoming a growing trend nowadays, such as plant-based eating, personalized nutrition, intuitive eating, detoxing food and etc. And trendy healthy food actually looks pretty good these days, it's actually getting into me so we picked this cafe.

Fittie Sense is located at 23A, Jalan Telawi 3, Bangsar Baru, 59100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan.

Goes by the name, the concept of the cafe is healthy food after a work out for the 'fittie' people. What I loved the most about was the ambience of the cafe with minimalistic greenery interior. And it was quite slack on a Friday because we went early, right after work. If you're looking for a place to do your work or studies, this place isn't bad at all.

FIT FOOD - that's right.

They have a see-through roof on this corner of the cafe, which brightens the ambiance as a whole.

Greenery interior never goes wrong. 💚

They had some healthy-fittie looking cakes and brownies as well.

I don't usually drink any hot drinks, but latte is an exception. Hot latte is way better than the cold one.

Their latte art was on point, and loved this saucer they have. *My little work station*

We headed there around 4:30 and their kitchen was closed until 5:30, so we had to wait for an hour to order our food. So we were sipping on coffee but starving to death...Finally, ordered. Yay!

Lamb tagine (RM34) - slow cooked lean lamb stew with almonds and tomatoes cauliflower rice

Cajun chicken (RM28) - grilled cajun chicken chop, tomato, avocado, chilli and milet quinoa pilaf

Harissa chicken (RM26) - chicken kebabs, Lebanese slaw and sumac salsa

We were amazed by the plating, so much of insta-worthy plating.

Daily specials menu on the wall, we realised that when we were walking out of the restaurant (...)

Selling little goods in the corner, bags?

Overall, I'd say it was a very new experience for me eating healthy food like a vegan. Strongly recommended for people who regularly work out wanting to stay 'fit', obviously not me but yeah. Even their beverages are almost all healthy detox-ish drinks with less sugar. If you're a gym rat but want to have some good quality dishes with some meat (chicken, lamb, salmon etc), this place is exactly what you're looking for. Give it a visit, you'll definitely love it!
